Calice HCAL Reconstruction Software

A git repository for the HCAL reconstructions software is available here .

Installation at DESY for DL5, SL3 and SL4 via script includes all necessary third-party packages and the HCAL reconstruction software itself. The installation normally works also quite well on other systems like private laptops.

Execute the script in an empty directory. The total size of the installation including all temporary files which can be deleted after the the setup amounts to about 1.5GB.

Updates of the hcal software framework are available via scripts. Further information can be found on here .

Some demo steering files for the reconstruction of data , the digitization of Monte-Carlo and the production of noise files is available, which show how to use the package and which allow to make some basic physic plots. At least version hcal-00-01-20 is needed for these steerings.
