Over the last few month a document has been drafted by members of the worldwide community of particle physicists, which states the case for an e+e- linear collider:

Understanding Matter, Energy, Space and Time: The Case for the e+e- Linear Collider.

A call went recently out to the international particle physics community to endorse this document

The document should be a unique international statement of the consensus among physicists for building the machine somewhere in the world. As such we can expect it to be usefully cited in the bids to funding agencies and to governments which are now being prepared in many countries.
